Emergency Preparedness for Businesses
As your family prepares a personal emergency plan, MPDC has prepared a suggested plan for your workplace. The plan focuses on 10 elements of security improvement and safety considerations:
- Evacuation plans
- Plans for sheltering in place
- Security plans
- Package and mail delivery
- Monitoring of garages, containers and other structures outside the main facility
- Surveillance techniques
- Means of contacting essential personnel
- Restricting entry
- Identification of employees
- Emergency use of your building's air-handling and/or HVAC systems
