Where We Work: Neighborhood Profiles

Neighborhood ProfilesHome Again began in five neighborhoods where residents expressed great concern about the concentrations of vacant and abandoned residential properties: Columbia Heights, Shaw/Le Droit Park, Near Northeast, Ivy City/Trinidad and Rosedale. The five Home Again neighborhoods are at different stages of revitalization and each has its unique challenges. Visit the links below to explore the communities in which we work.

Strategic Neighborhood Action Plans (SNAP's)

Through workshops and community meetings, residents created a SNAP to guide the redevelopment of their individual communities. SNAP's are instrumental to Home Again, as they identify the areas most affected by vacant and abandoned properties.
